Maná refers to the Hebrew word in the Bible for the food that God miraculously gave to the Israelites in Exodus after the food they had brought out with them from Egypt had run out – expressed in Spanish in honour of Sol Yerden Eksteen, the family’s Argentinian daughter, who married Pieter Willem in 2019.
At Maná Deli/Bistro the maná not only comes from heaven, but from our own valley of heaven and earth. Post COVID the family decided to turn the whole farm into a food forest, supplying the deli with fresh, organic fruit and vegetables all year round. All our dishes are homemade, from scratch, using fresh produce from our farm where possible, otherwise, we source ingredients from quality-driven, trustworthy suppliers.
Enjoy Suné’s unique interpretation of local, seasonal farm fare experienced with Bartho’s expertly crafted wines – and unpretentious, old-fashioned hospitality offered in the stables next to the wine cellar.
